Specialist made a presentation on hydrogen in Valcheta and Sierra Grande: "Río Negro is looking to the future".

In addition, he explained the preservation of the environment; the transformation of wind and sun into electricity; the transformation of water and air into clean fuels, as well as their storage, transport and distribution via hydrogen.

He also answered specific and varied technical questions before an audience full of local people and institutional representatives.

"This type of talks will be held again as the project progresses and will not only deal with specific issues, but will be planned according to the demand of the community of Sierra Grande and neighbouring areas," said the Secretary of State for Planning, Daniel Sanguinetti.

"The purpose is that people of Río Negro get to know about the project and its different stages as well as the administrative-legal process and the agreements that are being executed with institutions of different sectors", he explained.

He qualified as " fundamental" that the citizens not only attend as listeners, but also that they participate and ask for information.

"Some talks have been already defined in the agenda, but many others will be planned according to the demand of the communities or according to the doubts that the evolution of the events themselves may require", he stated.

On the other hand, Bolcich congratulated the initiative and highlighted the high level of attendance and discussion.

The activity was attended by the Secretary of Strategic Planning, Mercedes Ibero, representatives of provincial agencies and legislators of the region.
